I started doing DJ work with three local radio stations in West Virginia as a young adult, from a High School Senior until the age of 25, when I found I had to eat, too and not just have fun doing commercials and the like. Over the years, I have continued to do bit voiceover jobs, but nothing steady, since talent jobs are scarce in small towns.
I was born with a raw talent of being able to use different voices. By my High School years, it was more than ever a part of my personality, but became better refined during stints with radio stations, doing everything from announcing and sports play-by-play to advertisements and promotional tags.
For the past 9 years, I have been employed in government jobs, simply because the money is there. Now 32 years old, I am ready to do what I want to do, having an established family and home in San Diego. My talents would be an asset to any production requiring a fun, energetic voice or a soft, serious, or narrative tone.
