My Training
I attended an academy dedicated to voice over teaching, called Voicetrax San Francisco. I took a variety of classes from narration to basic acting techniques to character development. I attended courses there from March 2007 to January 2008.
My Studio Equipment
I have a MacBook running OS X 10.7.1 (can also run Windows 7 Ultimate), using software Audacity, Reaper and GarageBand. I have an MXL 990 mic, connected to an ART Tube MP pre-amp and to a FireWire Solo recording device. I prefer this combination rather than a straight USB MXL (or for that matter, any USB) mic because of the warmer sound this combo produces.
Additional Skills
My uncle is a sound and music recording engineer. He taught me the basics to effective sound recording in a recording studio.
