RADIO CAREER: 24 years creating, writing, producing and voices for my original kid's radio programs: FunLight Radio, KidZone Radio and nationally syndicated Coconut Hut Radio Show. Won several Tesla Awards for audio production. TV CAREER: Several puppet characters, (voice and puppeteering) for Nickelodeon, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Via Transportation, La Quinta, White Lion Pictograph and others. WRITING CAREER: Writing over 200 episodes for The Brilliant Adventures of Captain FlashLight on national radio, Captain FlashLight junior novel, articles for Integrity Music, published works, and video game Attack of The Tune Twister for Integrity Music.
Took Bob Magruder's voiceover workshop, but no other formal training, just a lifetime of doing voices. I have a B.A. from Vanguard University, and have been performing LIVE puppet shows since 1978, and contributed my voice talent and puppeteering skills to national workshops, TV commercials, seminars, hospitals, churches, schools, libraries, all over. I am also a published author, audio producer, and from what my friends tell me, a really funny guy!
I have ProTools LE 8 and a Neumann TLM103 P48 mic. So, I have an audio studio within my MacBook Pro, with the ability to record, edit, and send to you via email or DropBox as mp3 or .wav file.
As previously stated, I've done a lot of writing and entertaining, mostly kids and families, so that comes in handy. I've learned to improvise, too, and you'll hear lots of that in my voice demo.
