Voice Description

My natural voice can be described as a "folksy" news voice. I project and can enunciate extremely well, and have performed as an In-Ring Announcer for Wrestling and Boxing Promotions. I can be very dramatic in tone, and have used that voice to promote upcoming matches for commericials. And on the other side of the spectrum I can also be perform with a very down-to-earth voice. I would have to say the proverbial bread-and-butter, is the traditional news diction. I have a solid understanding of performing regional English dialects as well.

My Voice Experience

It all started when I left a message on a friend's answering machine, and he said, "Wow! You have a great voice." Just kidding, and no offense to anyone who's experienced that story, but they said be creative. I was a live In-Ring Announcer for Pro Wrestling and Boxing Events. I have read, wrote, and produced news for TV and Radio on various stations. I have also performed various in amateur cartoons and plays.

My Training

I am a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Aside from the heavy concentration in news reporting, I also spent time studying Speaking, the Voice, and Articulation.

I am easily motivated, and creative as well. Recently I helped out a friend with some public relations work for a new company he was working for. I wound up voicing and producing an audio commerical for their main product.
