Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I haven't had much experience doing dialects, but can do characters, such as ditzy, hyper, frantic, overly dramatic etc. Just let me know what you are looking for and I can come up with something...I enjoy doing that.

My Voice Experience

Have worked in the radio industry since 1985. I have been an on air personality for Contemporary Christian station, Top 40, Lite A/C and Country.
My first love has always been production, it's creative and fun. I have been in my present market for over 18 years and have many clients including furniture stores, lingerie stores, gyms and retail stores that have used my voice for a number of years. I love working with clients to get the sound and script that will bring new clients through their doors.

I also have a teenage daughter who has done several commercials for kids stores. So if anyone needs a teenager to voice something, I got one.

My Training

I am a graduate of Connecticut School of Broadcasting (1985). I worked in the West Palm Beach and Orlando markets since graduating from CSB. I often attend career days at local schools and love interacting with the kids and telling them about my profession.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own studio in of all things a log cabin...the acustics are awesome. My husband is the Chief Engineer and IT manager for a cluster of station here in town and he built it.

I have Behringer Speakers, a Mackie 16 channel board, Yamaha SPX 900 processor(yeah it's old, but works!), Fast-Track M-Pro Audio card, DBX Compressor/Limiter gate, Neumann Mic and Seinheiser Mic and use Adobe Audition 3.0 for editing. I do have a licensed music library from Sound Ideas, and some sound effects if they are needed.

Additional Skills

I can also write copy. All I need to know is what the target audience is, what type of spot you are looking for and what info you want in the copy.
I will also do updates for spots, so if you have an event that needs the dates updated, (ie. next week, this week, tomorrow, today versions). I have found throughout my years in radio, listeners really depend on you letting them know or reminding them of when an event is going to happen.
Since my studio is in my home, I am available for quick turn around projects, and work in my studio until 7 pm Eastern time Monday thru Friday, with some sessions on Saturday.
