My Voice Experience

I have sung holiday jingles and recorded commercials for the radio as well as live emcee work. As a regular nightly emcee for a variety of DJ/Karaoke functions, I am constantly providing a variety of voices depending on the performance or the nature of the mood. Whether the event is witty and spirited or quiet and somber, I am sensitive to the subject matter being addressed. I have been an emcee for almost 13 years and can also provide a singing voice if/when necessary.

My Training

I received a Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis on Speech in 1993 from Eastern New Mexico University. I also use my minor in psychology to understand the nature of the mood of whatever presentation is being addressed.

I was in Theater and Speech/Debate in High School and College for several years so I know how to project my voice to accomodate either a small intimate room or a large auditorium.

While involved with John Robert Powers academy and other on-camera commercial acting schools, I learned a variety of angles and posture positioning, facial expressions and other key ways to really express various emotions vocally.

Currently, as stated before, I am an active Emcee/DJ nightly for Karaoke shows and other entertainment functions. I sing, emcee, DJ and announce all sorts of things on a nightly basis.
