My Voice Experience

Retired 18 years in US Air Force. Utilized frequently for emcee, public speaking and singing engagements in both military and civilian venues (ie Air Shows, hockey games, motivational speaking). Classroom Leadership and management instructor for 5.5 years, Air Force Recruiter for 3 years.
No formal "voiceover" experience, but I'd love to start.

My Training

AAS Instructor of Technology and Military Science; Air University Academic Instructor School; Occupational Instructor Certification; Achieve Global Professional Selling Skills; School of Hard Knocks. I've been narrating since I was a child. It is something that just comes as naturally to me as breathing. Many people would rather I sing, but it makes me very nervous, however, I am NEVER too nervous to speak, no matter the size of the crowd.

A polished professional presentation that moves the consumer starts with the human voice. Not only should the voice be confident, but exude genuine warmth and intelligence. It must be free of any obvious "quirks" that pull attention away from the intended message.
