My Voice Experience

35 years as a professional musician doing Irish and Scottish folk using the dialects that the songs call for, was trained in the theater as an actor to change and use my voice according to the situation. Have appeared in a wide range of stage productions portraying everything from an elderly English bishop to a young southern marine recruit. Have also guest-hosted various radio shows

My Training

have done voice-overs for various radio commercials (usually related to my performances as a musician). have appeared on numerous radio programs (usually N.P.R. affiliates) as a musician and folklorist. Was trained as an actor in my youth (Karamu Theater, Cleveland OH.). Have spent the last 35 years working as a professional musician performing British Isles folk music all across the eastern US.
