My Voice Experience

By trade, I am an attorney. The stock in trade of an attorney is to deliver powerful, clear, and effective communication, both spoken and written, to persuade an audience that the point you are espousing is the truth. This skill blends perfectly into most voice over projects. As an attorney, I have had ample opportunity over the years to refine my voice, inflection, timing, and delivery. Since I began applying this knowledge and ability to a voice over career, I have discovered that the two really feed off each other. I become a better attorney as I become a better voice over artist and vice versa. My skills can give you the persuasive edge you need to make your project the best it can be.

My Training

If you don't count the years of legal training and experience, I am primarily self trained, although I have attended online training on techniques and have done extensive reading on technical aspects of recording. However, my legal experience has given me vast amounts of training on how to convince and how to deliver via the spoken word.

My Studio Equipment

Currently, I am using an ECHO MIA mide sound card through a DBX286 pre-amp and an AKG condenser mike. I have several different configurations available to give you the sound you need. I am using Sony Soundforge and the complete Adobe Production Suite of software.

Additional Skills

One of the skills I have developed since becoming a voice over artist is the ability to mix sound, voice, music and effects to create a terrific complete product. Its one of my favorite aspects of this job. I can mix my voice with your music and sound effects or find music and sound effects for your project to provide you turn-key solutions.
