Voice Description

The voices I can do are mainly for cartoons,however, I can do soothing,professional,or even sexy. The characters I emulate range from Hank Hill,Beavis and Butthead,Ace Ventura,Gollum. I can do British,Scottish,Russian accents. I also do some sound effects like a bird song,the Jetson's car. Even roars. When I was younger,I could do the voice that was used for Linda Blair while she was possessed in "The Exorcist". I might still be able to do that.Most American accents like southern and even New England or Michigan I can do as well.

My Voice Experience

To tell the truth,I,ve never done anything on a professional level. I didn't get serious about trying this until recently. I've done voices ever since I was a young boy,now 30 years later,I thought I'd finally give it a try because this is where my passion is. I did an answering machine message for a friend imitating Beavis and Butthead. He had plenty of inqueries of how he got it done. I also did a Transylvanian accent for him later that he kept on his machine several months past Halloween.

My Training

Self trained in front of mirror and friends and family. Being born and raised in the south means having a "redneck" accent. I had to train myself to speak clearly and as neutral as possible by imitating actors or narrators of documentaries.

The job I currently hold is an appointment clerk at the Naval Hospital aboard MCAS Cherry Point,NC. I answer the phone and book patients in. It takes a clear,professional voice to do and the woman that hired me was impressed at my speech.
