Voice Description

I own a provocative,resonant and soothing baritone voice quality. I can modulate to an authoritave delivery with little effort, can go from romantic and funny ala Brad Garett to extremely dramatic, sinister and compared to the one and only Don La Fontaine. I have clear enunciation and pronunciation quality. My voice could be most effective in commercials, dramatic promos and dramatic/romantic movie trailers. My Voice Experience

I have devoted all of my time to continuous, ongoing training in my craft. I have proceeded to audition to those opportunities which I feel are most suitable to my voice talent. I don't make excuses. I feel that voiceacting is my vocation and am making strides to become more and more proficient in this challenging field.

My Training

I have completed an (8) week AOVA, Art of Voice Acting, workshop with James Alburger and Penny Abshire via their Commercial Clinic in San Diego, California. I received further training at the "Voices International" conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2007. I continued my training with Rodney Saulsberry via his commercial voice training in studio in addition to his (6) week movie trailer/ promo training. I have also trained with Debbie Munro, noted voice talent and instructor, Vancouver, BC. Canada. I have also trained with Pat Fraley in the audiobook genre. completed a 12 week Promo/Trailer seminar with noted instructor, Joyce Castellanos. I am continuing my training regimen with MJ Lallo in the commercial and animation arenas.

My Studio Equipment

MXL 990 mike with boom and stand. Yamaha MW 10 C mixer and also have M-Audio pre-amp with Audacity recording software. Fully capable of sending MP3/AIFF/WAV files via computer.

Additional Skills

Genuine people person. I tend to be able to garner attention with how I present myself, voice notwithstanding. I am used to speaking to large audiences or one person and keeping the attention of those listening. I enjoy speaking and can adapt my voiceover delivery to what I believe would be most situations, characters and evironments. In other words, flexible. I handle constructive criticism well and more than willing to check my ego at the doorstep if need be.
