Voice Description
I would begin to describe my voice as deep and clear. From traditional narration to characters like a gravely film-noir detective, or an upbeat game show announcer. My friends always get a kick out of my "movie trailer" voice. And I like doing dramatic readings to myself, for fun. Voice acting has been the farthest I care to go in the theatric arts, but I love it.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Being native to the United States I have the best ear for North American regional dialects (North, South, West coast, New Yorkese). Foreign language accents are not difficult, but more effort is always required to capture authenticity in non-speakers. Good accents win Oscars, bad accents make people cringe and lean toward stereotypes.
My Voice Experience
Officially, I've done voices for online-flash animation. And other video game dialog (impersonations, character acting) . I have also worked with translated video game scripts .
I currently have a weekly morning podcast on Party934 Internet Radio under the Mixologist title Dagda. Where I perform music hosting live for one hour.
My Training
I have logged over 50 hours of volunteer DJ hosting including live segments.
I've recorded voices for Flash cartoons for years now. And I have familiarized myself with basic radio board technique, and how to address a microphone.
Life IS training...
My Studio Equipment
Quality recording Microphone, Audacity, Workstation PC, home-made sound booth, podcasting software.
Additional Skills
A healthy knowledge of pop-culture, movies, television, cartoons, video games, and so on. Does that make me a nerd?
