Voice Description

The description of my voice runs the gamut of what you may seek. My love of voice acting has allowed me to fine tune what I believe is a cornucopia of accents & styles. I tend to lean more towards the warm, deep, and authoritative side(think James Earl Jones), but I can lighten the tone to be more "friendly and American as apple pie"(think every "Pepperidge Farm" commercial from way back when). I also can transistion to a more "newscaster" type voice(think the guy from the "Cash For Gold" commercials). Being a younger male has allowed me to hone an "urban" announcing tone, great for advertising towards the African American and Hispanic youth population. My well spoken manner translates well for presentations and narrations. The possibilities are almost limitless with me. Always trying new ways to fit what you may seek.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

My standard voice is North American English, but I can easily flow through Southern accents, British accents, Caribbean island accents(my father hails from Trinidad and Tobago), Hispanic accents, Australian accents. Getting much better on my Eastern European/Russian accent. My love of animation allows me to create voices for whatever the occasion may call for.

My Voice Experience

My experience...wow! I'll put it to you this way: I have had more experience trying to GET experience ever since I woke up at the age of 17 with the golden pipes that I have been blessed with. Be it going to many acting auditions, my first IVR experience with cluetastic, and even my minor experience in radio work under the tutelage of personality Myke Julius, formerly of V103 here in Chicago, I have persevered for the right avenue, the right opportunity, for someone to hear me and say "THIS is the guy we need!" It's not a question of "CAN I do this?" It's more of a matter of "I KNOW I can do this!!!" I'm willing to do whatever it takes to prove my worth. What have you got to lose?

My current career as a sales representative offers me the ability to speak to a wide variety of people on a day to day basis, allowing me to effectively utilize my gift to prosper quite well in my position. Although my resume is virtually non-existent, I truly believe I have what it takes to make your project a success. I guess I'm the "Susan Boyle" of voice acting work: Never got the chance to show the world the talent I have to offer, but if I was placed on the big stage, I would shine.
