Voice Description
My voice is very versatile which allows me to perform in many different capacities. I can do the "SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!" voice for monster truck and rock concert ads, switch to deep and full for narrations and audiobooks, and then be articulate, smooth and professional for presentations and more formal ads. I also have several dialects I can perform to fit the needs of many projects.

My Voice Experience
Over the years, many of my friends have said that I would make a great radio DJ or that I should get into voice over work. My thought was always, "yeah, right" until I worked a stint at Home Depot and I had to page people over the store PA system ('Dave, please come to the paint desk, etc'). Both co-workers and customers would comment on how good I sounded. I then started paging people like a game show host or Captain Kirk for fun and everyone, including me, got a real kick out it. So I thought, maybe there's something to this. I should try this voice thing out. As it happened a friend of mine is good friends with a local radio DJ. I made a demo and had my friend give it to his DJ friend, and now, here I am breaking in to a new profession!
My Training
By trade and education, I am a percussionist with an MA in Music Performance from Washington State University and a BMus in Music Education from the University of Idaho.
As a music student, I performed in choirs and took lessons in vocal production and diction.
During the fall of 2002, announced the Washington State University Marching Band at home football games in front of sell-out crowds of 35,000 people.
