My Training
I was on my high school drama club for three years placing fifth once in states (MA) duo dramatic interpretation category. I performed in several plays during my first two years of college. Since 2005, I have taken classes/workshops on improvisational acting, film acting and intro. to voice over.
My Studio Equipment
My home studio currently consists of a Dell Inspiron N5040 laptop with Sonar LE and/or Audacity DAW software. I use the Samson CO1U USB studio condenser mic on a spider shock mount. I record with the mic in a portable sound booth, so I am completely mobile! :)
Additional Skills
I hold degrees in physics, mathematics, and education and am comfortable with most technical vocabulary. I taught high school math for five years so I am comfortable speaking in front of people and ad libbing when needed. As a former educator, I would be a perfect fit for training/e-training work as well as infomercials and podcasts. My most important skill, at the age of 40, is my life experience ranging from work in nursing homes to restaurants, teaching to SCUBA diving instruction and much, much more.
