My Voice Experience

20+ years onstage acting, including Charlie in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Leslie in Madness of Lady Bright, Dr. Bradley in The Man Who Came to Dinner; and a variety of comedy, dramatic, and musical roles. At Dorsey Studios in Atlanta, I studied acting for stage and camera and diction.

I am just beginning my voice-over career, and will draw on my radio and stage experience. For several years in Atlanta and Washington, DC, I have read newspapers to the blind over a radio reading service. When I was a teenager in high school, I worked at a radio station, doing a regular DJ program in addition to other air work as necessary, such as news programs and live commercials.

My Training

I am now retired from business. I have an MBA degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and spent most of my working life as a CPA in public and private practice. I co-founded a software manufacturing company. Since retiring, I have more time to devote to my passion for performing, and have recently completed a voice-over class, where I made a demo.
