Voice Description
I have a soothing baritone voice with excellent diction, which is my normal speaking voice. I also have a very good upper range, which I use for some of the younger characterizations I perform. Mostly, it's malleable--I change my voice to fit the project on which I'm working as much as possible.

My Training
Education:
Denison University, 2010
- Major in Cinema
- Minor in Music (Vocal Performance)
My studies in cinema have honed my editing skills, both for video and audio (together and separately), so not only can I edit my own material, but I also know a lot about microphones, sound recording techniques, and how to best deliver the desired result. I am currently a freelance videographer/editor at News 12 Connecticut.
I am a classically trained singer, and through my training I have crafted my diction and projection, as well as widening my vocal range, pitch control, and vibratto. I am also an excellent musical sight-reader.
My musical background has required me to sing in many different languages (English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, and Latin, to name a few), so I am well-acquainted with the rules of pronunciation in these languages, and a few others.
I learned a Romanian accent for the part of Stanislaw Top in The Big Top and a German accent for the part of Mrs. Gloop in Willy Wonka. I have taught myself an Irish accent, a few British accents, and a Russian accent. I studied the Spanish and Japanese languages in school, so I can also do those accents.
