My Voice Experience

I majored in communications at Wright Junior college in Chicago 15 years ago. Out of 24 people in my communications class the teacher told me I had the best speaking voice.My teacher went on to become the Mayor of Park Ridge (Suburb of Chicago)As a class we went to the 20th annual Loyola Radio TV conference and there was a machine that we spoke into that monitered the pitch in our voices.The person running the booth said I have a very good pitch in my voice.Quick Story:I get sick of advertising on phone,so every so often I decide to have a little fun. Some phone company called and I decided to act like a kid.The woman thought I was a little girl and she asked how old I was and I said 6 years old. She bought it!She told me to tell my mother that I was too young to answer the phone and she would call again. I never pursude the communication field because I did not think I was that good.I have been at UPS for 18 years. I finally realized that I am that good.People tell me all the time that I do great impersonations.Recently at work:one person at work told me I should be a game show host and somebody else said I should work for Nickeloden!

I have never done voice overs or voice over jobs. I registered with voice123 because it seems like fun and something new and exciting!The former show Punkid;Me My friends and family have been doing that for years!

I have been at UPS for a long time and know what hard work is.I lasted 18 years at one of the best companies in the world because I learned to work smarter,not harder.My stock broker use to work for Edward R. Jones Financial.When he moved on to LPL Financial he asked if I wanted to be his partner.I said no because I would be able to handle the communication and selling part but not the numbers and paperwork part.He said he asked me because I spoke well and that I was street smart.
