My Voice Experience

I started in 4H when I was 8 yrs. old in a play back in the 60's and although I had limited lines, I had to make every one count. By High School I performed in one acts and as a shy reserved lad I was given a part as a hillbilly boy...I had 7 lines and they were all the same word, "DUH". I made every word count and for this feat I won the Best Supporting Actor award out of the whole high school. As a reserved individual whenever I became involved in stage performances, I excelled at the parts that involved animation and voice, I have been told it is my gift and to accept it. Sometimes I wish I had that Voice of God quality where everyone justs stops and listens to what god has to say. My style really is down to earth though as everyone stops to listen in curiosity to hear "What is he going to say next?". I have been involved with Theatre for the better part of 40 years in various capacities other than acting. My main career which I recently lost was in the airline industry as an agent who cleverly crafted words to calm delay weary passengers on thier journey to wherever they end up. I was gifted using the PA system for the better part of 8 Years. This year I am breaking into the Voice Over business fulltime. My portfolio is relatively new and in the past I have done some radio commercials and television promos. I am very professional ,true to my word and committed to a successful qualitive finished product.
