Voice Description

my voice...well, its deep, sometimes can sound a bit nasaly...but mostly I would say its a stern deep voice that I have.

I have a fairly deep voice as mentioned before. I am VERY loud especially around friends and family. I joke around alot, so in joking, I'll throw my voice depending on what I'm joking about.

If you get me talking first thing in the morning or the middle of the night, my voice is very deep. I am a firefighter so when I have to get up in the middle of the night and talk on the radio, the dispatchers get a kick out of hearing me.

Anyway, I am new to all this. I am really hoping to do some part time work and have fun perhaps making some radio ads, tv commercials or whatever else is available...perhaps even a narrative on the Food Network or History Channel!

I can pretty much make my voice go from being low or deep to being high pitched...I have a funny high pitched laugh most of the time.

I can be very monotoned also. I would be great for insomniacs listening to books on tape.

My Training

I actually have my Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts. If I could do anything, it would be to do some work for the Food Network...or the History Channel.

I worked in private country clubs for about 12 years then did a complete change and became a firefighter. I love what I do and I enjoy the gratification of helping others.

My Studio Equipment

I have a HP video camera for my computer that I use on Skype. The computer has a basic 60 second sound recorder...thats about it.

Additional Skills

I am a quick learner, I am a work-a-holic and very detailed oriented. I dont mind doing something several times until I get it right. When I have a desire to do something, especially something like this, I will give 110% to make sure that the company is happy with the work I am providing them.

I really, really want to do this. Since I was in high school, I had teachers and individuals trying to motivate me to take chorus,or get involved in some type of broadcasting- I just never really thought it was conceivable. I really hope that something will come of this and I can get involved in this profession.
