My Voice Experience

I have recently entered into the voice over industry although I have held an interest in pursuing this for several years. While the bulk of my training to date has been through online sources, I am constantly expanding my knowledge in the industry. I spend several hours a week editing and submitting demos through various online forums. Through constructive feedback from other voice over artists I am able to identify opportunities and improve upon my performance.

My Training

I recently placed 2nd (out of approximately 100 entries) on Edge Studios' weekly voice over contest (ending October 7th, 2011).

My Studio Equipment

I have a home studio setup which includes an Audio Technica AT2020 Studio Condensor microphone and Adobe Audition 3.0 audio editing software.

Additional Skills

I have worked for over 10 years in a customer service and sales call centre for a major Canadian communications company. This role has allowed me to practice and develop a greater understanding of how to effectively communicate vocally to the consumer.
