Voice Description

Roberta Solomon is one of the few women voiceover artists to achieve a top tier career. Clients spanning the gamut of entertainment and broadcasting include HBO, Showtime, Discovery and PBS. She narrates documentaries for a number of cable networks, and is the branding voice of scores of television and radio stations across North America.

Solomon is a charter member of "Right Between the Ears," a merry band of players who prance about each week doing sketch comedy on the radio. The show is heard every week on Sirius/XM Radio's Laugh USA Channel.

An actor of many stripes, Roberta is cherished (and probably not in a good way) by fans and followers, who continue to send sweet but kinda creepy email to her alter ego, Crematia Mortem, the frisky femme fatale creature feature host.

My Voice Experience

Roberta has worked full-time as a voice actor for fifteen years. She was one of the first women in the country to have her own studio, and she's booked every day.

My Training

A bunch of degrees and teaching certificates, and 25 years of daily work behind a mic and on-camera.

My Studio Equipment

All the bells and whistles, for delivery in any format you require. ISDN, Source Connect, FTP transfer, etc. Roberta usually works with Neumann U-87 mic, but often switches to a Sennheiser 416 or AT 4047 to suit the project.

Additional Skills

She's a writer/producer, singer and guitar-picker and is comfortable with technical and medical language, IVR phone recordings and niche voice work.
