Voice Description

My range is quite extensive. I can work a deep baritone for narration, sound like the ordinary guy next door, the brash car commercial announcer or goof it up for cartoon character if need be. My real talent, however, comes from voice characterization and accents. I speak both French and German although I'm not fluent in either. Best accents include, Indian, Irish, English (proper and Cockney), Scottish, Australian, French, German, and Russian as well as a whole host of US regional Dialects. I speak "Boston-ese" "wicked good" as I'm a native of the area, I lived near enough to NYC for 10 years that I have that accent down pat as well. My southern, Mid west and Texas accents are spot on.

My Voice Experience

I've been working with Aberrant Sound in Concord, MA for the last year and have over 7 years of Sales/Presentation experience with a Major Financial Institution in Boston as well as a lifetime of theater and performing arts training with a specialty in improv. I also worked for 2 years as an on-air talent at Fairfield University's radio Station, WVOF. I thank you in advance for your business!

My Training

As I stated previously, I've had a lifetime of training for this profession. I was always the kid in class who could impersonate the teacher or a cartoon character and frankly, it's been a talent that I should have made a career out of a lot earlier. I've had drama coaching/theater experience at St. John's Prep in Danvers, MA as well as Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. I was a Marketing Major, (so I KNOW your industry!) I was also a Jazz and Classical Performance double minor, French as my third minor at Fairfield U and was a member of both the Chamber Singers and Men's ensemble there as well. I have my MBA from Regis University in Denver, CO and I've been a sales representative and now manager for a major Financial institution for over 7 years, my "radio voice" has been fine tuned over my tenure there. Brian Sargent at Aberrant Sound has been my voice over coach and has years of experience in the industry and is an EXCELLENT engineer.

I have extensive experience in the performing arts both in front of packed auditoriums and intimate black box theaters. I am a HUGE fan even to this day of cartoon voice over talents such as Mel Blanc and Billy West and have studied their voice characterization work extensively.
