My Voice Experience
Radio has always been my passion since I was 3 when I grew up around a local radio station. And one day, I got to work for that station. I've worked for WGTS-FM in Washington, DC for the past 10 years and has allowed me to do what I always dreamed. I've been on the air and done voice work as the station's Production Director.
I realize not everyone likes that 'radio voice' for their projects and fortunately, I've had the right training with some of the country's best talent coaches and consultants like Tommy Kramer (Texas Radio Hall of Fame) Alan Mason and John Frost. They've helped me achieve that natural sound that most people can relate to.
I've done voice-overs for other stations across the country in Boise, Idaho and Washington State.
I think you'll be happy with the results you get by using me.
My Training
I received my degree in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Media and minor in Journalism from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD. At that time, I got to work with Joe Spicer who has taught some of the country's most well-known talents like Connie Chung, Jack Diamond and Loo Katz.
I've worked with Tommy Kramer of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame for the past two years who has taught me immensely how to sound very natural.
One of the things that I feel has contributed to my training has been taking voice lessons from Barbara Dash, who has trained individuals who have gone on to Broadway and the Kennedy Center.
