My Voice Experience
I began with college radio and then went on to work for twelve years at Chicago's famed Second City comedy club doing straight announcements and unseen characters, making live voice-over and improvisation a strong suit. Two years of narration for Azimuth-Interactive for their books and CD-ROMs of Microsoft Programs tutorials demonstrate ease of handling technical jargon. I have done commercials, industrials and short films. I have also written and performed my own one-person storytelling shows that held a wide range of pitch, tempo and intensity.
My Training
Loyola University of Chicago majoring in theater. Improvisation workshops at The Second City with Del Close and Don DePollo. Demo and coaching by Edge Studios in New York.
My Studio Equipment
SoundForge program in computer. Broadcast quality not available from this location at this time.
Additional Skills
Extensive knowledge of news, astronomy, computer jargon, and medical knowledge, extensive understanding of team sports and outdoor sports. Telecommuting available. I have SoundForge at home for basics, not neccessarily broadcast quality. I can edit voice-over sound and am a member of E.A.R.S. Chicago, an organization of sound engineers, both NARAS and non-NARAS members.
