My Voice Experience

A natural schizophrenic, Roald is able to perform a variety of impersonations and accents with unnerving accuracy, although his bread and butter comes from his neutral, rich, baritone tonsils. Roald is an award-winning voice actor with more than two decades of recording experience. He's voiced everything from movie trailers to corporate presentations to on-hold messages to kids' animated characters. To be honest, it's fortunate that there is such a thing as a voice over industry otherwise Roald would probably be hiking in a remote forest somewhere scaring the pants off his loving, caring family.

My Training

I spent more than 15 years in radio, studied acting at school and took part in many productions on an amateur level before entering broadcasting. I've received hours of therapy, dived in oceans, fought in a war and been promoted to the highest level of my incompetence. I have a college degree in economics and IT. My training also covers a good wedge of life and I consider myself to be a perpetual student.

At home : MBox Pro, Rode NT2, Sennheiser monitors, a very large iMac and some other fancy things that make things sound good.

Access to just about any kind of equipment required including a Source Connect enabled suite with full production capability.

Additional Skills

I've been in the security business, the radio business, the sales business, the marketing business and now the voice over business. There's more but we all have busy lives and who wants to waste it reading about some voice hack on the internet.
