My Voice Experience

25 years' on-air experience with stations in the mid-Atlantic region including WFDD, WSJS, WTOB, WHEE radio and TV. Voice-over work for all training and demo presentations (PowerPoint and DVD) for the MUTCD, FHWA Resource Centers, numerous State Highway Departments, Florida LTAP and the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA). Most recently, on-hold messaging and product demos for Radio Shack and the CrossTec Corporation in Florida.

My Training

Part-time board announcer while attending Wake Forest University at WFDD, WSJS and WTOB. Full-time radio announcer at WHEE until becoming Vice-President. Five years experience in television news and production. After moving to Florida in the mid-80's, I created an extensive library of work for the training and demo services listed above. Several announcing professionals either were trained by me or credit my work with launching their own careers. These include Hank Hedgecock, Reggie Blackwell, and my dear friend Barry Michaels, who was kind enough to include me in his biography.
