Voice Description
For Commercials, I can make my voice cool and hip, with a "chill style. I can do the surfer/stoner style, or the young and elegant style. I can also do a style that sounds like delivering the news. Very anchorish.
When reading, or doing a documentary, I use a semi excited style mixed with a soft English accent that really captures the listener's attention.

My Voice Experience
I have read the news in college for our local television station, delivering it with an almost John Stewart like style.
I have also been hired to do voice overs for independent films. My voice was used for the duration of a restuarant training video. Where I explained the ins and outs of working in the restaurant.
I was the stand in voice over for a commercial shoot. My voice was used for timing the edit.
My Training
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communication at the University at SUNY Geneseo.. This is where I first started my career in voice overs. I took news reading classes, and acting classes that helped greatly with my delivery and timing.
I have recently worked for a commercial production company that had me do voice over work for some of the advertisements.

Additional Skills
While working at the production company, I learned a lot about editing. I am now quite skilled at Avid and Final Cut. This has taught me that post production is a vital part of any production. When voiceover work is done correctly, it saves a lot of time in the long run.
