My Voice Experience

Rick began his voiceover carreer several years after moving to Nashville, TN. After running in and out of many studios here singing demos, jingles, and personal projects, he began to be asked more and more to be VO talent on various projects. Such as music promos, corporate radio/TV spots, video narration, etc. Discovering a whole new way to apply his voice and express himself.

Soon he began voicing audio books, corporate presentations, training vids, on-holds, music on hold, and more radio/TV spots for various products, services and promotions.

As an on-camera and stage talent, he learned to accentuate his natural ability and perform with conviction, precision and believability behind the microphone. His voice and his physical presence are a good match. Something he says he has found to be of value and often rare in this business. He says, "When you hear me and see me you will believe what I'm saying." A lady producer once said, "You can sell anything to a woman with that voice."

Rick says, "I can slip very comfortably into a cowboy/ Western lilt (Sam Elliott style) when I need to. I've been asked for that type of performance on-camera as well. Not bad for a kid from Pittsburgh!"
