My specialty is in accents including various British dialects, German, East Indian, Asian, and so on as well as various characterizations of well-known celebrities.

My Voice Experience

Rick Hind has been a member of ACTRA since 1996 and has done voice work and puppetry on Hello, Mrs. Cherrywinkle for OWL TV and for the band Radiohead (appearing on ‘Radiohead Television’ and the subsequent EMI released DVD The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of All Time). Rick has also done voices for Atul Rao’s ‘Historted’ animation series, and was a writer/performer on Out of Bounds With John Oakley and various other projects. Rick is currently working on a series of children’s audiobooks.

My Training

I have an extensive background in video and audio production. I have attended Sheridan College in Oakville for Media Studies, and have also been a musician for over 30 years. I have also produced videos for such people as Dave Rave, Matthew DeZoete, and Radiohead.

My Studio Equipment

For audio production I use Steinburg Cubase with a Line 6 Gearbox interface and various mics including my Shure SM57 and various secret tricks and so forth.
