My Voice Experience
Some years ago I did VO (commercial, narration, some character) when I lived in the Washington, DC area. Toward the end of 2006, while looking through some old cassettes, I came across my old VO demo reel from the DC days. Listening to it, I was reminded of how much I enjoyed and missed VO and decided to get back into it. I attended classes at VoiceOne in San Francisco for most of 2007, recorded a new demo in the Fall of that year, and have begun auditioning for VO work.
My Training
I have a BA degree in Theatre Arts from Northwestern University, Evanston Illinois. I studied voiceover techniques for over nearly two years at VoiceOne in San Francisco. During that period I focused on Commercial reads, completing their core curriculum in that area. Currently I am working through their Narration classes.
