Over the years I've been called upon to speak to live audiences, and am perfectly at ease speaking in public.
I Produced a six-CD set of unique true life stories which I had narrated, recorded, edited and mastered.
As of yet I have no experience with Voice-Over work for others. A Producer with credits for the Networks, Fox and others, who himself employs this service to find talent, suggested (unsolicited) that I hang out a shingle and make my voice available to the industry.
I have training and experience in live sound, as well as in the studio and am very comfortable in such professional settings.
Practical; Real World Application. I speak, people listen.
There are two Pro-Studio's in my region that I would employ:
ROBIN HOOD STUDIOS
An independently owned audio recording studio located in Tyler, Texas. Owner Robin Brians is famed for crafting the sound that became the band, ZZ Top. Robin and I are first name acquaintances who enjoy trading world views.
ROSEWOOD STUDIOS
Hidden from the uninitiated of Tyler, this is a full service recording and music production studio. Many famous Christian Recording Artists and Secular Bands alike come in from around the nation to record at Rosewood. Though not as close, I share mutual acquaintances with the boys out at Rosewood, having worked for one of those famous musicians for seven years.
I'm known in small circles for my superb craftsmanship in writing and storytelling, and am presently in development on my Directorial debut film.
In the 90's I had opportunity to train in Live Sound under the Grand Master of Audio Systems Engineers, Wally Duguid, and for a brief time under minor-legend, Buck Herring (Produced Helen Redding's "I am woman" and all of the albums for "The Second Chapter Of Acts") in his now retired Garden Valley, Studio.
I am an avid painter, an Abstractionist, and if need be, a half decent singer.
