Born in England and brought up in Oxfordshire I have a classic British accent in the tradition of the BBC voiceover. I can range from pompous and curmudgeonly, to soft and friendly, with a midrange that is classy, authoritative and articulate. I can do serious narration for corporate, TV, radio and documentary to dramatic movie-trailer tones, voice-mail messages, children's stories and comedy in the style of John Cleese or Eddie Izzard.

My Voice Experience

I have been involved in writing, recording and producing since I left school and started directing voice-overs at age 19 in London. I have worked in England, South Africa and the USA and have considerable experience both sides of the microphone working with corporate clients that include companies like Amgen, American Airlines, BMW, FedEx, Kodak, Four Seasons, Hilton, The Waldorf Astoria, Cisco Systems, Nike and Norwegian Cruise Lines. I have voiced documentaries, including a film on African Elephants entitled "Desperate Measures" as well as a program on Aids in South Africa and "Angels of Mercy", a doc about disaster relief volunteers.

My Training

My experience is entirely practical, having voiced corporate, commercials and documentaries all my life. I have directed thousands of sessions myself I am acutely aware of how to make the voice compliment the script.
