My Voice Experience

I had been in the restaurant industry for the past 15 years mostly as the General Manager.I would get on a daily basis from my staff, customers and suppliers how different my voice was. Most people asked me if I've ever thought of working in radio. My standard reply would be " Do you own a radio station? ". Some people would look at me with concern and ask me if it was my real voice, or if I was sick. Suppliers that would finally meet me in person, could not believe that the big voice was coming from a 5' 7" little guy instead of a huge giant. So for the longuest time this " Voice Thing " has been on my mind, and now that I've changed careers with some extra spare time I figured: Why not give it a shot.

Additional Skills

Being from the restaurant industry and working for high profile units, I have been often in situations where my different voice came in very usefull. It allowed me to perform staff seminars, do some radio announcements, and host special events (up to 500 people) as the " MC ". I have a good personality and can be very good at verbal banter. Most of my friends and family have actually given me " THE VOICE "as a nickname.
