Voice Description

I have a naturally deep voice, but I have been know to change my voice to whatever happens to pop into my mind, ranging from an old man voice to a high pitched "mouse" voice. I have constantly been told I should go into voice-over work due to my ability of sporadic pitch changes. I also earn a living by being on the phone for extended periods of time, so I also have the ability to sound professional.

My Voice Experience

I do not have any commercial experience as a VA, but I have experimented with voice recording pretty much all of my adolescent and adult life. I recorded a tape of myself and an imaginary friend, a mouse between the ages of 15 and 17, and all that have listened to it insist there were two people making the recording, when actually there was only myself. I have since converted this tape to CD format. I have also recorded my voice via the Sound Recorder program through Microsoft Windows with the addition of home made sound effects which were quite effective

My Training

I am pretty well a self taught amateur VOA, having experimented with this type of thing. I also have two and a half years of amateur theatre under my belt, which has taught me to project my voice.
