Voice Description
My voice has a broad range, from late teen to late in life. I feel comfortable with my voice in these many areas due to my theatrical training and experience, as well as my training in animation voice over. Character is key, and the elements that I choose to define the character is what gives me the ability to create the vast range of voices specific to the situation and product.

My Voice Experience
My first V.O. "gig" was at UCLA. My friend was in the film program and she had just finished editing her final project. It was a non-sync sound short film and she needed me to add some voices to it. The studio engineer/student also had the same type of project due. While working with me for a bit he said he liked what I was doing with my characters and asked if I could do the same for his film. I said yes. Since then I have worked on Independent films, CD-rom video games, voiced, produced, and engineered a few radio spots for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, and ADR for All my dialogue in a short film because the film camera sounded like a broken washing machine once we started rolling.
My Training
At The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, standard american speech was a class we all had to take, along with vocal technique (singing). I have studied with Susan Silo for animation, Nick Omana, Allison Steel, and Bill Holmes for commercial.
My Studio Equipment
Well, let's start with my microphone, I run a Sennheiser e835 thru an Applied Research and Technology (A.R.T.) Tube MP Studio microphone pre-amp into either my Apple Macintosh dual 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 Tower, or My Apple Mac Mini 1.66 GHz Intel Core Duo, I mostly use the latter for recording due to how quiet it is, and I have found that it's plenty fast enough for audio editing and mastering. The tower is mostly for video editing and playing games, heh! heh!
