Voice Description
I have used mostly a deep, empathetic voice in working with the non-profits to raise awareness about a situtation. Dramatic pitch used to stress statistics or need.
The instructional videos were done as a "professor". Mostly these technical subjects could be boring to sales people, who. for the most part, had no scientific background. My voice was light, varied in pitch so to make dry subjects as compelling as possible.

My Voice Experience
Extensive voice-overs for sales training videos in hydraulics, industrial chemicals, cleaners, lubricants and solvents. These were produced in house by A.W. Chesterton Company, Stoneham, MA in the early 1990's.
Documentary/informational voice-overs for international, non-profits: Good News for India, Mission to Ukraine, Peace and Hope Trust (Nicaraqua). These were used by these organizations to promote their work, raise awareness of their missions among church groups, and gain support for their activities. These have been done from 2000 until the present.
My Training
I hold a bachelor and graduate degrees in history and education.
My voice-over education was done through a Dan Levine course at North Shore Community College, Beverly, MA. With Dan's company, I have had several coaching sessions and cut my first demo CD.
My Studio Equipment
I do not have my own studio but do have access to one, as well as to a sound engineer, where many of the non-profit voice-overs were recorded.
Additional Skills
I am not a prima donna. I will work hard to get along with most people so a project can be done well and with minimum hassles. The oice-over business is not my primary work, but I would like to develop it more.
I write well so the "flow" of a paragraph or a sentence comes easier rather than harder to me.
