My Voice Experience

I've been singing for over ten yrs now, mostly classical and opera, and I'm a true contralto. My range is from a g sharp above high c to a c down on the bass clef. I sight-read fairly well, and have done a number of famous works including Handel's Messiah, Orf's Carmina Burana, and Alexandre Nevsky by Prokofiev. I've sang in numerous choirs and ensembles over the years, and performed with some wonderful orchestras and conductors.

My Training

I've sang in choirs starting when I was fourteen. In college I was a member of all three choirs the school offered, 2 of those groups had a lengthy audition period. Basically, I'm used to hard work and practice, and usually I tend to pick the music up very fast. Ive also taken private voice lessons for a year and a half.

Additional Skills

Although I have no experience doing voice overs, I have plenty of experience learning new music fast, I also read music and sightread. I get many compliments about my speaking voice as well.
