My Training
Became a voice-over artist by meeting a producer in local TV. Subsequently, hired to do weekly voice-overs for a real estate TV show. Grew from there to performing commercials at the same TV station. After producing a demo reel and sending it around to as many producers as I could find, I began to obtain regular voice-over and on-camera commercial, long-form, Station ID's, and infomercial work. Currently, as a realtor with RE/MAX, I perform the voice-overs for our phone answering system, our telephone tree advertising system, and the voice-overs for the phone system for the Nantahala Village Resort & Spa in North Carolina, and Xulon Publishers. Much of my voice training is as a result of 29 years as a Baptist and now as an Assemblies of God minister.
My Studio Equipment
Computer with Adobe Audition 1.5, a Sterling Audio mic in a shock absorber and a "popper-stopper", an external sound card and a XENYX 802 4 channel mixer.
Additional Skills
Writing scripts while involved in TV production, and in cooperation with some of the producers I have performed voice-overs for.
