My natural accent is middle Scottish but I have been asked to be many different characters over the years - from Billy Connolly to Sean Connery (I'm reasonably good at either).I have over 30 years of experience in recording commercials, for radio and TV in the UK(I started very young)
I've been English and English with Asian overtones, cockney, Oxford English and even Santa Claus or Father Christmas and that lot is just in commercials!
For corporate and narrative work I'm mainly strong, smooth and etheral with my native accent.
I will take on most challenges because I love to get my teeth into a project.

I worked on retail, service industry, public sector - literally thousands of commercials for local radio and TV.

My Training

My work started in amateur theatre, SCDA Junior male lead in a british final.
Spent some time in the music business in the late 60's and 70's in London.
Started in commercial radio as a presenter in 1975 and have done radio from then until earlier this year.

I also have experience as a copywriter/commercial producer in a couple of radio stations and have worked as an account manager/director in a ad agency.
