My voice can be very smooth and calming or very demonstrative due to my theatre training. I love doing sound effects and coming up with characters on the spot. Being raised in the south, I CAN have a southern accent, but most people ask me where I'm from...that's a compliment!

My Voice Experience

After being in my second grade play, I did whatever I could to be on stage in front of people. I began training for public speaking in
4-H in the 4th grade (again so I could stand in front of the class and talk). All the way through high school and college I was asked to speak at various events. High school also added some genuine theatre production experience in the mix. I combined all those skills in college to win over my Freshman class and be elected class president. Recently I went into a radio station and did some voice work for a couple of local businesses and now...I'm back!

My Training

My training was on the job. I have taken one class from Susan Berkley (totally awesome) but that was after I had completed a couple of demos for one of the local radio stations.
