Voice Description

I have a voice that can be best described as urban, however I have also been doing a little practicing with a UK English accent and my skill is building with that. I'd say the UK accent is more dependent on the script that I have to read. I have been told that I definitely sound more european when I normally speak. I am from New England on the east coast in the united States, while I can emphasize my new england accent quite strongly, my day to day speaking tone is generally that of a well spoken big city, african american professional. I have a pretty deep voice, and I have heard that my voice is very well suited for radio announcing, or narrations.

My Voice Experience

I have been told time and time again that I have the pitch and tone of a radio personality, announcer, narrator, or possibly even a movie preview personality. I have heard this from both, people in the professional music industry as well as music students working with vocal techniques.In my past I have pretty much worked on Berklee College of Music student projects involving poetry, hip hop, narration, and some college radio on air discussions.

I have done extensive work in performing arts, primarily in the area of college music projects. Lots of practice with the movie preview voices, as well as literary readings
