Voice Description
My North American English speaking voice is best described as a soft feminine whisper but can change to accomodate the moment.
I have a deep male baritone that amazing my listeners. As a thespian in high school during the 1970's, I portrayed such characters as Joan (Joan of Arc), Mrs. Prachit (A Christmas Carol) and Anna (The King and I).
I was born the the Mid-South, however, my dialect is unique. My voice is accepted in all regions and it creates attention and curiosity.

My Voice Experience
My voice is ear-catching and appealing employers have recorded it for after office hour information. I've been requested to speak at seminars and youth events.
My present employment involves answering the telephones for the police department. Many of the callers think theyve dialed the wrong telephone number because my tone resembles the voice of a 900 operator. Can you imagine that?
My Training
I haven't received formal voice over training. Nevertheless, my voice tone is natural, a gift from God and my mother.
As a Columbia Broadcast student during the 1980's, I was introduced to voice overs and desired to pursue a career.

Additional Skills
My former employers encouraged me to attend Communication Skills classes at The University of Memphis.
I received certificates from the classes and have applied the knowledge to my daiy lifestyle. By doing so, I speak with more confidence, captivate audiences and a motivator.
I create voice over promotional tapes for local community events as a volunteer. I also practice taping my voice to improve my delivery.
