Voice Description

I have a warm and deep voice perfect for narrations, believeable and honest; I can do characterizations and I am smooth, professional, and likeable.

I am have done voiceovers, voice mail greetings, message on hold, specialty voices, film and video narration and live TV work. In addition I have a wide variety of character voices, animal sounds, and mouth sounds that I can call into play.
My experience as a voice actor, voice over specialist, DJ, interviewer, corporate spokesman, on-camera talent, actor in radio plays, and hosting training DVD's allows me to do a professional job on most any project.
In addition to Voice Talent capabilities I also have a full-service TV production operation including studio and on-location capabilities in all formats including HDTV. We also can produce DVD's and CD's in volume quantities and at great prices.

My Voice Experience

I started in radio at 16 doing DJ slots, commercials and news. Moved on to hosting TV interviews, script writing and narrating films and documentaries. I currently operate a DVD production company producing videos using HDTV equipment and Sony Sound Forge and Vegas NLE systems. I use high-end Sennheisser and Audio-Technica mikes. Live presentations are also a specialty of mine. Except for being a devoted viewer I am in no way associated with the Red Green television show, although I share many of the same basic life beliefs as the main character.

My Training

As I said, I started in radio at 16. When other boys were chasing girls I was at the radio station carrying coffee to the DJ's. I continued working in broadcast during my time at Ohio State University majoring in broadcast speech.
One day at a meeting with my advisor he asked if I had a job. I told him I was working on radio. He asked the name of the station and I told him (it was the top rated station in town).
He said get outta here, we graduate hundreds of hopefuls a year. You've got the best teachers already. Study your drive-time jocks and news folks. I took that advice, quit college and never looked back.
