My Voice Experience

I thoroughly enjoy being a part of a production team, from scripting, voice talent, editing, to creating the finished product.

My experiences from on-air radio personality at KPLE radio in Temple, Texas and easy listening station, KNCT FM, Killeen, Texas, proved only to heighten my love of the field. For close to 20 years I have had the opportunity to assist organizations with voice over talent for promotions, PSAs, documentaries and commercials. More recently I was able to expand my services to the audio recording of children’s story books for use in the classroom. Helping others succeed, especially through a love of reading, has been very rewarding.

My Training

Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology, Tarleton State University, Killeen, Texas with an emphasis in Radio/Television/Film.

During my studies I worked and volunteered for KNCT-TV, PBS station in Killeen, Texas as on-air program host, voice over for on-air promotions, and editor. I expanded this experience while working for KNCT-FM as on-air talent, in the field reporting and voice over work for on-air promotions

I currently work part-time in the field of communications writing scripts, press releases, cutting voice work and editing.

My Studio Equipment

Our home studio consists of a 12 channel Mackie board which is input directly into our computer operating system. Various editing software makes it easy to input, edit, format and output soundtracks for multiple purposes.
