My Voice Experience

Even as a child reading aloud in class. I realized I had a unique talent to control my audience. It was like a power I possessed. I soon learned beautiful readers are rare
When called upon to read, it seemed as soon as I began the class would be transported… When I stopped, people would begin to blink and look around as if returning from a far away place. This has happened all of my life. I soon realized I had the unique ability to engage and control emotions.
Perhaps this is because I come from a long line of storytellers.

My Training

My training for voice over work has spanned years. Even as a kid, marketing fascinated me. I listened to the voice over artists on TV and radio, and practiced speaking like they did, putting punch where it was needed, learning to speaking rapidly , yet with control and clarity and timing it to the nanosecond. This is where I first practiced intonation and enunciation, practicing difficult speech points,
I was trained in theatrical performance and diction at the United States International University, in San Diego. Developing my skill in delivery and voice control, voice projection, how to read and mark voice-over scripts, looking for pauses and breaths.

I have performed many hours of oral reading, recorded contractual narration work and read-throughs to test performance readiness of scripts and books.
I have become well acquainted with the recording process and have my own personal recording facilities for speedy turnover of your voice over jobs.
