I have now, and have always had, a somewhat deep and mature voice compared to most females. Not too deep mind you! I have never been mistaken for a man or a heavy female smoker. I am occasionally raspy, and naturally register low and mellow-smooth. I can voice high, medium and register, Young Upbeat Friendly Female and I do well voicing Mellow Smooth, Upbeat Friendly Female and any Mature Professional voice level with various delivery and enunciations. I love voicing a wide range of projects and campaigns. I enjoy specialty projects that require a unique accent. I can voice most English/British/Australian,Irish,Southern US,Northern US,Mid-West US and Canadian accents and the dialect and slang therein. I do well with scripts,in-prompt-to segments and listen and speak direction. I love being in a creative environment where ideas, marketing and branding meet the creation and production of an idea, character, sound and sometimes music.

My Voice Experience

I have been a voice talent, both live on-air and for commercial and production purposes. I have voiced marketing on hold projects and many voice over gigs for many client radio, television and website ads. I take pride in being prepared, on-time and reliable as a voicing engineer/talent.

My Training

Attended Greenville Technical for 2 years and started out as an intern at a a local classic rock station for a few months and then became fully employed as an on -air disc jockey, production assistant, promotions assistant and news director. I wanted to learn all aspects of the business and how to sell, create and produce commercials, news, stories, movies, documentaries, marketing films, music and all aspects therein. I then transferred to Winthrop University and became the Program Director at WINR- Winthrop University's radio station and attended school full time while also covering various sports games and city council meetings for some of the local public radio station. From there, I went to work at Muzak LLC and worked various projects in the Muzak Voice Department. In those 4 years, I learned so much about marketing, customer service, branding, script writing, copywriting, production, engineering, voicing and team work. I loved learning about the latest in production, music, branding and the overall product from start to finish. Not to mention the awesome family of co-workers and a great clientale.
