Voice Description
Without changing it, my voice is deep, smooth, and has a very slight southern accent, almost too slight to notice. I am able to deepen my voice further to play more motherly roles for narrations as well as cartoon characters. For commercials, I can be bright, cheerful, and enthusiastic. For cartoon characters, my range can vary from deep and scary to high and silly. I can play typical, blonde teenage girl as well as the hollow-sounding idiots. It is fairly easy for me to do lisps and the spitty sounds of braces. And on the other end of the spectrum, I can pull off smooth, scary voices and stuck up rich women. I am also very experienced in doing British accents, such as cockney, upperclass, and regular. I can do variations of southern twangs as well as fairly over-the-top New Jersey/New York, Russian, Hindu, and French accents.

My Voice Experience
Having been in theatre for most of my life, I have played several different types of characters. Recently, I have performed as roles aging from 14 to late 50's. I've been lead roles in two musicals. The first was The Pirates of Penzance as Ruth in which I had to sing and speak in a rich, uppercrust British accent throughout the whole show. We had a British woman come to help us with our accents and told me I had no flaws in mine. The second was a fairly new musical called Crossroads in which I played a bratty risque fourteen year old girl with a thick southern accent. Initially, I won a gold medal for best actress for that performance.
I have played several eccentric characters in the past and am very flexible.
My Training
Four years of high school choir training, a one week workshop at UCLA on acting and musical theatre, two years of one-on-one voice coaching, four years of high school theatre, several projects and productions in community theatre, one month film camp in Walt Disney World sponsered by the New York Film Academy, currently earning Theatre Arts degree, currently enrolled in university choir
