Voice Description

I am among the lowest, deepest, most resonant voices in the US. My voice is deeper than James Earl Jones. My delivery is a cross between James Earl Jones and Michael Duncan Clark. It is original. I specialize in trailers, sports promos, documentaries, automotive and retail spots. I am black, or African American. I can also do a sexy, fun, Barry White love making delivery and a warm Dennis Haysbert attitude. For narrations, I have a warm, authorative, resonant, smooth voice. I'm great as a trademark logo voice or a macho highlight voice. At the other extreme, I am sophisticated, upscale, refined, dignified, educated, and can be superior with attitude and arrogance if called for. I'm taking acting lessons to refine my deliveries.

My Voice Experience

For years people have been telling me I have the deepest voice they ever heard. I was even in the audience of the Jay Leno show talking softly, when Jay stopped the show to find out who was talking. He said I had the lowest voice he had ever heard. I then hooked up with Ray Nakamoto of Nakamoto Productions and he also said I had the lowest voice he had ever heard.
Ray thinks my depth of voice might be the deepest of any African American voice over artist in the US. My voice is solid, not boomy like the Seven Up announcer.
My first spots were for Harrah's and HBO Boxing After Dark, followed by a TV VO for Mercury Insurance.

My Training

I have trained at the Nakamoto Productions Voice-Over Workshops. My vocal coach is Ray Nakamoto. He taught me the Euro pronunciation style and of course, standard American. When you send me a script, I will work with my vocal coach, Ray, to give you the sound you are looking for. All my reads are original and distinctly me. I'm learning how to become a serious voice-over actor. I enjoy doing auditions. I'm constantly reading to improve my job training skills to become the best in the nation.
While Ray is my manager, I'm looking for regional and national voice agents who would want my talent.
