Voice Description

I'm in an absurd band called Fresh Cut Salads wherein I have the opportunity to use my voice for a slew of different characters (for example: kraut-rock backing vocalist, bluesman, opera singer, punk vocalist, Mexican vocalist, and so on and so forth). I've been complimented many times at my ability to thrive in all these settings. I have a fairly deep voice but can conjure up a variety of personas with it. I feel very very confident that I could handle a wide variety of jobs.

My Voice Experience

I've been singing and using my voice in various un-called-for ways for around 9 years now. I've trudged my way through a fair amount of spoken word and have been belting out everything from odd Latino knock-offs to Muddy Waters-esque free-for-alls in a band called Fresh Cut Salads for the past 4 years. I've also contributed vocals to a number of other artist's albums. But I really just enjoy speaking and anything voice-related and have been encouraged to persue voice-acting for quite some time now.

My Training

I have absolutely no technical training whatsoever (I think this makes me a valuable resource in some ways...just think about it). If only I could explain to you how anti-dissapointed you'll be with me.

Additional Skills

-I can roll an "r" until the cows come home

-I have unusual beatbox capabilities (different enough from usual beatbox methods that it feels profoundly unfitting to utilize the term at all)

-Have a good sense of humor (that steers a little left of normal)

-I can also sing quite high, incidentally (as I discovered in a Beach Boys tribute concert I was involved in)
